CRICKET

FIXTURES have been arranged with several other schools and in spite of our poor facilities we hope our teams will reach a high standard of play.

On games afternoons we have use of one cricket pitch and the remainder of the sixty boys practise round the outfield.

Much hard work has been put into the preparation of concrete wickets, particularly by Mr. Armstrong, and we hope to be able to use these before the end of term.

Our first representative match - against Rickmansworth - ended in an honourable draw, both teams playing entertaining cricket.
