SENIOR BADMINTON 1974

By Mr. P. Cahill

The senior badminton team has had another very successful season, winning eleven matches and losing only three.

In the Middlesex Schools Competition the team reached the semi-final stage where they had to play a very powerful Mill Hill School team without their captain, Beaumont, and were beaten by seven games to two.

The school again won the West London League Championship, thus retaining the title for the fourth successive year.

Colours were awarded to D. Beaumont, H. Davies, J. Donczyk, and Half Colours to S. Wrighton.

For the first time the school ran a second team during the year, and this competed creditably in the Middlesex Schools Competition.
