ST. NICHOLAS GRAMMAR SCHOOL

OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION (1962-63)

UNDER the chairmanship of Richard Finer, the Old Boys' Association is now firmly established. Its activities, as yet, are limited in number. Our rugby and cricket fixtures with the school resulted in victory for the school teams. We hope to field stronger sides next year.

There is now a "Keep Fit" evening on Wednesdays in the school gymnasium, under the direction of Mr. Cahill. There are some vacancies, and Old Boys who are interested are asked to contact the Secretary or Chairman of the Association.

In September the Association held its first social event, a dance, at which the music was provided by "The Vikings", a group which includes three of our members. The Executive Committee wish to thank all those who helped to make the evening a success.

The officers of the Association for 1962-63 are:

President: THE HEADMASTER

Chairman: R. J. FINER (1955-9)

Vice-Chairman: P. L. P. CLARKE

Secretary: C. J. PAYNE (1955-61)

Treasurer: P. NEWTON

Junior Treasurer: I. K. CARTWRIGHT (1955-61)

Committee : K. GATHERGOOD, R. JONES, W. MILLER, D. ROGERS, C. SANDERSON, C. SNOOK, L. SPRAGG and A. E. VALENTINE.

The annual subscription is ten shillings, and should be forwarded to the Treasurer at the School.
