STAFF CHANGES (1972)

The following members of the staff left during the year:

In December 1971:
Mr. M. A. Wilson to be Director of Studies at Whitchurch High School, Cardiff.

In April 1972:
Mr. G. Buckingham to be Head of the English Department at Queensmead School, South Ruislip.

In July 1972:
Mr. I. Clarkson to be Head of the Mathematics Department at the Commonweal School, Swindon.
Mrs. M. Drummond to a post at Victoria Girls School, Watford.
Mr. P.J. Tanner to a post in Zambia.

The School wishes them success in their new appointments.

Our congratulations and good wishes go to Mr. J. M. Jefford, Deputy Headmaster since 1965, who became in September Headmaster of Barnhill School, Hayes

This year we have also lost the services of Mrs. M. J. Russell who has removed to Chichester with her family and Mr. W. A. Houghton on his retirement. Our good wishes and gratitude for their service to the School go with them. We also wish success to our foreign assistants for 1971-2, Monsieur M. Geist and Herr J. Westje.

In January, 1972:
Mr. G. P. Moss, B.Sc. (Econ.) (Wales) from Queen Mary's-Charles Chute School, Basingstoke as Head of the Economics Department.

In April 1972:
Mr. I. E. Bell, B.A. (Natal) for the summer term - English
Mrs. A. Kennett, A.T.D. (Birmingham) - part-time Art.

In September 1972:
Mr. L. W. A. Bellhouse, B.A. (Sydney) from Knox Grammar School, N.S.W. - Mathematics.
Mr. A. W. Kerr, B. Ed. (St. Luke's College, Exeter) - Physical Education and English.
Mr. R. J. Kraushaar, B.A. (Jesus College, Cambridge) from Ilford County High School - Modern Languages.
Mr. D. W. Roberts, B. Com. - part-time Geography,
Mr. A. R. Taylor (St. Paul's College, Cheltenham) from Abbotsfield School as Head of the Divinity Department.
Mr. A. R. Thacker, B.Sc. (Manchester) from The Aga Khan School, Kampala, Uganda, as Head of the Mathematics Department.
Monsieur N. Pineau, French Assistant.
Frau Gotze, German Assistant, whose services we share with Queensmead School.
